What is Macrium Reflect Rescue Media?
Maricum Reflect Resuce Media allows you to create bootable resource media on CD, DVD, or USB drive. If you are using Macrium Reflect software, it is the very first thing you need to do with this backup software. It contains a bootable, lightweight version of Windows and a full version of Marcium Reflect.
Recuse media is very handy in case your computer’s operating system is unable to start due to malware attack, operating system corruption, or hardware failure.
Create a Rescue Media in Macrium Reflect
You can create rescue media on a CD/DVD or USB flash drive. In our case, we will use a USB flash drive to create rescue media. Before starting the process, make sure to take a backup of your USB drive’s data; otherwise you will lose the data.
1. Launch the Macrium Reflect application, click the CD/DVD disk icon or click Other Task and then select Create Rescue Media.

2. Choose Removable USB Flash Drive and click Build.
