When you have created a Google account, it’s time to send an email. When you want to write an email, you will use the Compose window. Scheduling an email is one of the best features available in Gmail.
Let’s say you want to send an email to someone after a few hours or someone is in a different time zone. You can schedule an email and send it at a later time.
How to Compose an email
1. To send an email, first Sign in to your Gmail account, enter your email address and click Next.
2. Enter your password and click on “Next”.
3. After you log into your Gmail account, click “Compose” at the top left of the window.
5. A compose window will appear at the lower-corner of the page. Type in your email address, subject, and message body and click “Send“.
If the person you are sending an email to is already in your contact list, you can start typing that person’s first name, last name, or email address into Gmail and it will display their contact for you.
How to Schedule an email
In Gmail, there is a feature that lets you schedule your emails to be sent at a later time. Your emails will be sent based on the time zone you set for them.
Login to your Gmail account. At the top, left-click on “Compose“.
Click on the drop-down arrow at the right side of Send and click on “Schedule send.”
Choose from the available templates or Pick a date & time.
