What is Basic Sync?
It is a feature in the AOMEI Backupper Standard free edition that allows you to sync folders to your USB flash drive, external drive, or NAS drive. It’s like a copy feature from source to destination.
If you have work files and folders and want to sync them to a USB flash drive, you can use the Basic Sync option. It is a one-way sync from source to destination.
How to do Basic Sync
1. Open the AOMEI Backupper Standard application, select Sync, then click Basic Sync.

2. Enter the task name for Basic Sync, then add the source and destination locations and click Start Sync. Wait for the synchronization process to complete. It will sync your data from source to destination.

4. For manual sync, click the home tab, then go to your basic sync and click three lines, then click Sync Now.

5. To schedule a basic sync, select the home tab, then go to your basic sync and click Schedule.

6. Configure the schedule from daily, monthly, weekly, monthly, event triggers, or USB plug-in options, then click OK.
